With the arrival of autumn is the start of one of the most impressive shows offered by wildlife in the Pallars Jussà: The Dear Roar!
In our region we can find different spaces from where we can enjoy this unique experience, and we can do it on our own or with any of the multiple authorized companies that offer us a guided through these natural sites, of which all the necessary information can be found at the following link:
Normally the beginning of the Dear Roar takes place in mid-September and lasts until mid-October. The spaces where you can enjoy this show in the region are:
- National Hounting Reserve of Boumort
- High Pyrenees National Park
- National Hounting Reserve of High Pyrenees
For those of you who may be unaware of this natural phenomenon, we want to help you discover it. The Brama takes place at the time of mating of the Deer (Cervidae), and it is in this space of time when the males initiate a dispute, or we could even call it a competition, with the other males in order to conquer the females. This fight is that the males after showing their bellow, and that the dominant males have got their herd of females, must continue to defend it from the rest of competing males.

From Hotel Terradets we want to encourage you to enjoy this unique show, and that is why if you make a reservation at Hotel Terradets you will receive a €5 discount per person* to do a visit to the Boumort Nature Reserve with Outdoor Adventour.
Although the Dear Roar visits are designed for all ages, we remind you that it is a visit of 6 hours approximately, and where it is essential to maintain the maximum silence to enjoy good observation and listening to the Dear Roar.
Outdoor Adventour departures are organized by groups of 4 to 6 people. We offer morning hours from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. and afternoon hours from 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The starting and return point is at Railway Square in La Pobla de Segur.
Outdoor Adventour provides transport 4x4 to the refuge of Cuberes, guide services and technical material for the correct observation of the fauna. We recommend that you wear a front or a flashlight because during the route it will be dark.

- Discount only applicable to guests by sending the booking receipt at the time of the request.
- This discount is applicable to groups of 4 people minimum or if shared with another group. Every day except Sundays.
